The object of the Pageant of Empire is to endeavour to portray in such a way as to make it interesting - , some of the main points that have made British History. Much work has gone into this Production. It is a production that calls for a good deal of research work and a lot of hard work on the part of those taking 1 part. The amateurs of Hamilton have responded nobly to the call and are presenting- something - unique in the history of the district. An Orchestra of 18 are giving - their services, and performers to the extent of approximately 70. The Pageant of Empire in one of its Episodes depicts the rise of Parliamentary Government and the struggle with the Royal power in the time of Charles I.
