GAOL SENTENCES
ASSAULT AND THEFT (By TclesTaiJh. —Press Association) DARGAVILLE, Thursday Charged with assaulting Harriet Evison, aged 65, at Mangawhare and causing bodily injury, also with stealing the sum of 30s, William Kahi Wi Parata was sentenced to three months’ hard labour on the theft charge and two months on the assault charge, the sentences to be cumulative.
