SPY HUNT

INTENSIVE BRITISH SEARCH i (Times Air Mail Service.) LONDON. Sept. 5 i An intensive hunt for enemy agents who may be signalling to Nazi bombers is being carried out in Britain’s bombed areas by Mr and Mrs Civilian. j Hundreds of men and women, some j of them relatives of raid victims, are forming their own “ spy ” squads. The advance guard is already working at Ramsgate, where the Hun has been particularly vicious. The squads will carry out their : hunt in every part of their particular town and will keep a sharp eye on i “ visitors.” i “We feel certain that Jerry bombers are being guided to their targets by information and signals which they have received from their agents,” a squad member told the Daily Sketch last night. , “If we can only trap the agents —and by a comb-out of the town that is more than likely—then it will not j be so easy for the Huns.”
