TERRITORIAL INJURED
CAR AND MOTOR-CYCLE (By Telegraph.— Special to Times) WAIHI, Monday A motor-cycle ridden by Private W. C. Capper, aged 19, and a motorcar driven by Private A. Ginns were involved in a collision at the corner of Haszard and Kenny Streets. Capper, who is a territorial and was in camp at Te Aroha, was thrown heavily and suffered severe head injuries. The cycle was extensively damaged. Capper was taken to the Waihi Hospital. FALL OUT OF CAR CHILD FRACTURES SKULL (By Telegraph.—'Special to Times) WITANGAREI, Monday A fracture of the skull' and concussion were suffered by a Silverdale girl, Cecille Gray, aged four, when she fell out of a motor-car yesterday while travelling toward Whangarei with her parents. It is stated that one of the doors of the car swung open and she fell on to the roadway. The child was brought to the Whangarei Hospital in a serious condition, but it was stated tonight that there had been an improvement.
