WAR LOAN ON EXCHANGE HIGHEST OFFER £75 | SELLERS DOWN TO £B2 j (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Tuesday j A cautious attitude was adopted J by brokers when the new £8.000.000 internal war loan was quoted for the j first time on the Auckland Stock Exchange today. The opening offer for stock on the fully-paid basis of Cloo was £SO, which was immediately raised to £6O, then £65, £7O, £75 in rapid succession. The initial response of sellers was at £9O, after which the limit was reduced to £BS, £B3 and £B2, at which the market closed, leaving a range of £7 between buyers and sellers.
