PLUNKET SHIELD CRICKET
CANTERBURY PROPOSAL (Bv Trlogriipn.- -special to Times) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday A proposal that the Plunket Shield programme, without the shield at stake, should be held this year, all expenses to be pooled, visiting players billeted and profits shared is lu be made lu the major cricket associations by the Canterbury Association. These suggestions were made at tonight’s meeting of the committee of tne association. The Otago and Wellington Associations both wrote asking Canterbury to give its views upon the holding of Gome-ar i d-hoine inatches.
