Nelson Watersiders’ Union, prevent- j I ing local merchants from securing j ' supplies from other ports. | Representatives of the Fisheries i 1 Department, the Price Investigation ' j Tribunal, the local firm (the only ; • one with a wholesale license), the 1 Fishermen's Union and the Seamen's j Union held meetings over the week-
end. resulting in an agreement which provides increased prices. During the boycott the fishermen have been supplying direct to such institutions as the hospital.
