BOWLING SEASON
TE AWAMUTU CLUB’S OPENING (Special to Times) T£ AWAMUTU, Monday. Ideal weather, splendid greens and a large gathering of bowlers contributed to a successful opening day Tor the Te Awamutu Bowling Club on Saturday. There was a large number of visitors From neighbouring clubs who were welcomed by the president, Mr s. S. Preston. The green superintendent, Mr \v. J. North, the caretaker, Mr >. Clarke, and the ■secretary. Mr N. M. Thomson, were thanked for their work in having excellent greens available and for the close' attention to the details necessary Tor a successfu' day.
