TO CARRY ON
POLO CLUB DECISION 'jSKJff (Special to Times.) MORRINSVILLE, Saturday. Discussion on the advisability of carrying on for the next season took place at the annual meeting of the Morrinsville Polo Club, held in the Municipal Chambers. The president Mr C. J. McCulloch, expressed the opinion that the club should carry or, not only for the enjoyment of i. laying members, but to provide some relaxation frem the strain of war. The members unanimously decided to start practice at an early date. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr W. S. Goosman, M.P.; president. Mr *C. J. McCulloch; vice-president, Messrs. J. Harris, J. E. Aurisch, P. Swarbrick, D. G. Spence. R. Small; secretary, Mr A. J. Mellow: veterinarian, Mr R. G. Hastie; committee, Messrs. F. Klaus, J. E. Aurisch, P. Swarbrick. L. P. Swarbrick. D. G. Spence, senr.; club captain and selector. Mr F. Klaus; grounds committee, Messrs J. E. Aurisch and F. Klaus. The recent Polo Ball resulted in the sum of £579 2s lid being raised for Red Cross Funds.
