FIRST DAY. Champion Certificates will be awarded to the best Ram and the best Ewe in each breed where there is bona fide competition. Competition to mean exhibits from two or more owners. Reserve Champions will be selected in each section from exhibits taking a first or second prize. Entry fee 6/- for members, non-members 10/-. First prize £l/10/-, second 15/- (unless otherwise mentioned). The giving of a prize to a sheep shall imply that the Judges are satisfied that such sheep is fairly shorn, or fairly trimmed. All sheep in Pedigree Shorn Classes must be shorn on or after Ist August. NATURAL CONDITION SHEEP RULES. A declaration must be made on back of entry form stating (1) the actual date sheep were shorn; (2) that they were shorn evenly and close to the skin; (3) that the wool has not been trimmed or locked in any way since: (4) that the sheep have not been housed or covered at any time. Any indication of artificial colouring or oiling will disqualify. These conditions will be rigidly adhered to. All stud sheep to be shown in wool, and in natural condition unless otherwise specified. The Association reserves the right to substitute value in lieu of cash for prizes. NOTE.—In the event of any donated Prizes being reduced or withdrawn usual section Prizes will be paid. ROMNEY MARSH.
