WORK ON LAND-CLEARING (By Telegraph.— ?r»p<*ial to Times) GREYMOUTH, Monday The Italian miners who lost their positions in State mines in the Runanga district when Italy entered the war are being placed on a landclearing job in blocks of about 2000 acres of Crown land on the West Coast. The men will camp on the job, and about 14 Have already been placed. A majority of the men have been on social security for some months.
