ROAD RACING

TE AROHA CYCLE CLUB’S EVENT (Special to Times) TE AROHA, Mondav. The Te Aroha Cycling Club held a road race on Saturday rrom the F.A.C. corner to Paeroa and back. The weather conditions were good but the roads were very rough. Results were as follows:—K. Watson 9sm, i; A. Bates, 4sm, 2; V. Reader, 6m. 3; J. Skifflngton, 3m, 4. Fastest time was recorded by A. Bates who covered the distance in ih Bm. K. Watson won by 2in from Bates, with Reader 50 yards behind. Other competitors were J. Nicholson (3m), W. Mllle(3m), m. Kiely (Gsm) and J 5. Skifflngton
