Messrs M. L. Higginson and F. Rose, representing the Tirau Company, also waited upon the council, offering the company's organisation to be used in any way which the council thought lit. it was decided that the riding member? in each district form the nucleus or the ►mimttee for such district, with power to add, and to co-operate with other local organisations.
