CLAIMS FOR EXEMPTION (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Friday The New Zealand (except Westland) storemen and packers’ award was the subject of an application for exemption from the general wages order heard by the Arbitration Court today. The Court reserved its decision. Arrangements were made for fixtures to be made later for the hearing of similar exemption applications in respect of the New Zealand dairy factories’ award, the New Zealand private hotel employees’ award and the New Zealand chartered clubs’ award.
