FIVE MORE CASES

MEASLES AT TE RAPA CAMP STILL IN ISOLATION Five more cases of measles have developed among the troops in the isolation camp at the Te Rapa racecourse, and there are now 52 soldiers in the Waikato Hospital emergency block in the new Hamilton West School. Three cases developed, yesterday afternoon and two this morning. No further cases have arisen at either Claudelands or Hopu Hopu camps.

No decision has been reached as to when the isolation of the Te Rapa camp may be lifted. There is no possibility of the restriction being waived for the week-end and no leave will be granted the men.
