PRESENTATION MADE
SUSS E. JENKINS HONOURED Miss E. Jenkins was the guest-of-honour at a charming afternoon tea party held in the lounge of the Waikato Lyceum Club, recently, by representative committee members of the Waikato branch of the Registered Nurses’ Association and representative members of the Waikato Sunshine League. Best wishes for the future were extended to Miss Jenkins, who will shortly leave her positioi. of submatron of the Waikato Hospital to take up her duties as matron of tne Tauranga Hospital, by Mrs Snell, and on behalf of the Registered Nurses’ Committee she presented Miss Jenkins with a case of silver teaspoons. The presentation of a cup, saucer and plate was made by Mrs I. Owsley, on behalf of the Sunshine League, in recognition of Miss Jenkins’ willing help and co-operation. Those present were:—Mesdames Snell, R. S. Graham, Gordon Smith, I. Owsley, F. Herbert, H. Luxford, Pierce,. Knight.
