PRAM RUNS INTO TRAIN

INCIDENT ON PLATFORM (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) WELLINGTON, Tuesday A mother wheeling a perambulator on the railway platform at Lower Hutt this morning had a most unpleasant experience when she lost control of it and it ran into a train which was leaving the station. Fortunately the train had almost passed and the collision occurred so far back that when the perambulator fell off the platform it landed on the track behind the train. The child in it, aged two, was given medical attention for its bruises and was fit to be taken home.
