COLLISION WITH TRAIN

TRUCK DRIVER’S ESCAPE (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday An accident which might have had more serious consequences occurred last evening at the Lake Street railway crossing, Cambridge, when the incoming goods train came into collision with one of Mr J. A. Bell’s motor trucks, driven by Mr Robert Fell. The driver was dazzled by the setting sun and did not observe the train.

The motor truck was almost clear of the crossing when the collision occurred. The back portion of the vehicle was somewhat damaged, but the driver was not injured.
