GAINE’S CHOICE PREVAILS MILANION BEATS VENTURE ROYAL MESSAGE IN LAST The success of Biform in the Pakuranga Hunt Cup, the first since his achievement in the same event last season, was one of the outstanding features of the Pakqranga Hunt gathering at Ellerslie on Saturday, when fine weather conditions attracted a large attendance. Te Kawiti won the chief flat event and Royal Message prevailed in the sprint event over the favourite, Our Jean. The going was dead after recent rain and was cutting out towards the end of the day.
