Mrs J. E. Cowles, Hamilton, is spending a holiday in Auckland. Mrs A. M. Fahey, Hamilton, leaves during the week-end for a visit to Auckland. Mrs L. Reid, Hamilton, leaves during the week-end to spend a holiday in Auckland. Mrs D. R. Welch, Taupiri, and her daughter, Pamela, are spending the school vacation in Auckland. Sisters Rangi Barlow and Freena Clayton-Greene have left for Wellington. Miss Merle Hamlin, Auckland, who will relieve the Plunket Nurses at Hamilton and Frankton for two months, will take up her duties next week. .... Miss Madge Carruth, “Stanley Park,” Okoroire, and Miss Kath Brestand, Perth, Australia, will leave shortly to spend a holiday at Rotorua. Miss Helen Watkins, Hamilton, is spending the school vacation at Okoroire. * * « * Mrs E. Cumming (Remuera), Mrs Alan Wrenn (Rotorua), and Mrs Cottier (Wellington), are the guests of Miss Lorna White, Hamilton. They were guests at the Bruce — White wedding on Wednesday. TIRAU Miss Ella Darby has returned to Lower Hutt, Wellington, from a visit to Mrs C. P. Gardner, Tirau. Miss June Banks, New Plymouth, has been visiting her mother, Mrs Sefton Banks, “Marinoto,” Tirau. Mrs H. Whitehead, Auckland, was a recent visitor to Okoroire Springs. Mrs F. J. Anderson has returned to Okoroire from a holiday in Auckland. * * * ♦ Miss Valerie Higginson, of Auckland, is spending the school tolidays with her parents at Okoroire.

Glimmer, Te Puke, is spending her vacation * with her mother, Mrs C. M. Gummer. Mrs R. B. Morton is spending the holidays at Auckland. Miss Pinder, Morrinsville, is spending the holidays with her mother, Mrs Pinder, Wellington. Miss L. Echlin, Awanui, is visiting her mother, Mrs L. Echlin. Mrs R. Markham, Motiti Island, Tauranga, is visiting Mrs S. Cornish. Mrs O. Soanes is on holiday at Auckland. Misses J. Robb, M. Soanes and M. Ferguson are visiting the Chateau, Tongariro. * * * * Miss P.
