One paper says:— “If you have never done any pub- ! lie service before, you can start now —by economising in the use of water. “Housewives! When you are filling a kettle or saucepan, turn the tap on carefully, and off promptly. “Never fill a bucket to overflowing. “Never wash you hands under a running tap. j “Every gallon counts.”
