PAPER RESTRICTIONS

A new control of paper order, j which comes into force on August I 16, revises and in a few instances exj tends the limitation of the use of j the paper which an earlier order imI posed. i The prohibition continues on new I newspapers, magazines and periodi--1 cals, but the statutory ban on the “sale or return” system for newsI papers has been suspended on con--1 dition that the newspapers all conj tinue to be sold on a no returns ! basis and claims for returns only ! to be admitted in special circumstances.
The prohibition of the sale or return system now' applies to magazines and other periodicals. Limits are set to the size of posters which may be printed on new paper. i Certain other minor restrictions are also included.
