CAMBRIDGE SUB=UNION FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY TEAM FOR PEACE CUP At the weekly meeting of the Cambridge Rugby Union management committee last night the president, Mr D. iSourke, presided over a good attendance of delegates. The meeting selected the Rev. P. Sergei, of Hamilton, as the referee for the Peace Cup challenge game next Saturday. Messrs T. Bourke and C. G. Wallace were appointed managers of the team. It was agreed to send an invitation to the Maniapoto subUnion to send its senior representatives to Cambridge on August 24. Fixtures for Saturday Fixtures for Saturday are as follows;—Senior representatives to travel to Matamata. At Victoria Square.—Fourth grade: United v. Leamington, at 1 p.m. (Mr J. Miller); juniors: Hautapu v. Leamington, 2.15 (Mr C. Hadley). Since the meeting the secretary has been advised of the junior Boyce Cup draw. The cup is held by Waipa, and Cambridge has been drawn to play the holders on August 31. Waipa plays Matamata next Saturday and the only other challenge is against Morrinsville on September 7. CAMBRIDGE REPRESENTATIVES The following will represent Cambridge in the challenge against Matamata next Saturday for the Peace Cup. The team is almost the same as that which ran Morrinsville to a three-points difference in the recent Finlay Cup game. Fullback, P. Shaw; three-quarters, F Jones, J. Baxter, A. Pennell; fiveeighths, J. Kelly (capt.), A. Sutherland; half, FL Russell; forwards, E. Hall, J. Williams, M. Hewitt, L. Kidd, A. Vickers, W. Cooper, T. Neil, H. Arnold. Reserves: Backs, R. Arnold, L. Weir; forwards, R. Jones, H. Fostrom, H. Tippett. The team will assemble at the Post Office corner at 12.45.
