FURTHER RISE ANNOUNCED (By Telegraph.—Social to Times) AUCKLAND, Tuesday Shippers of cargo were to-day notified in a joint circular from companies handling freight to the United Kingdom that rates have been increased a further 20 per cent, on prewar levels, making a total increase of 70 per cent, since war started. There were two previous rises of 25 per cent, each last September and October.
