Mr R. L. Bradley, first assistant at Hastings West School, has been appointed lecturer at Auckland Teachers’ Training College. Messrs H. Stacey (Auckland), P. Curtis (Christchurch), F. O’Keefe (Taihape) and W. Murdoch (Wellington) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr Justice Johnston, of Wellington, will arrive in Hamilton on Monday to conduct the quarterly session of the Supreme Court, which opens in Hamilton next Tuesday. Captain H. A. Brockett and Mr W. Laing have been appointed waterfront commissioners for Lyttelton. Captain Brockett is a member of the staff of Kinsey and Company, Limited. Mr Laing is a waterside worker and has been president of the Lyttelton branch of the Waterside Workers’ Union.
