THREAT OF FAMINE

CONDITIONS IN EUROPE RUMANIA’S GREAT LOSS EFFECT OF SOVIET SEIZURE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received July 8, 9 a.m.) LONDON, July 7 Still further accentuating the threat of famine in Europe, the Soviet’s appropriation of territories in Bessarabia and Bukovina means the loss to Rumania of some of the most fertile districts in the Western Hemisphere.
