Copyright) (Received July 6, 9 a.m.) ROME, July 5 It is officially stated that Italian forces have occupied Kassala, in Anglo-Egyptian Sudan. Kassala is described as an important railway junction. Italian planes, despite adverse weather and anti-aircraft fire, machine-gunned the airfield at Malta and destroyed eight enemy planes. Italian planes effectively bombed British ships at Alexandria, and hit several.
