Principal Items were: Motor truck anil lopdrc*ser. £7O; McCorm;- k mower. £3O; hay tedder. £3O: wagon. £.‘7; hay stacker, £j[ : tip dray. £10: milk cans £.’ 7s to £3 85; one-wheel hay sweep. £l7 los. The two horses offered were c «?d Tor £37 10s and £3O respectively. The cows were mainly young, or*pood quality and in very good condition. Competition was keen tlirouphout and prices yere therefore fully up to expectations. Tue nr.-t thirty cows sold averaged £l3 7s ♦d. but a* there was a large number or cows In milk sold later In the dav. the average, everything included, ts a* good deal lower. There were 55 cows in calf sold altogether at an average of £ll 12<* Top price was £is. and there were fourteen cows sold at £JS or over. Prices Tor the cows in milk ranged up to £l3 and the bulls made £s to £8 ss. The sale Is considered to be one of the most successful held in the district for some time.
