CYCLIST STRUCK BY CAR (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Friday Mr Edward Hunter Peters, a driver, aged 35, married, of Point Chevalier, was killed almost instantly this evening when his bicycle was struck by a motor-car on the Great North Road. LEG SEVERED WELLINGTON, Friday Mr Albert Eager, an engineer, of Kilbirnie, had his right leg severed below the knee when a revolving cylinder on a sweating machine flew to pieces when the machine was running at high speed. His left foot also was severely injured.
