TRAIN HITS BUS
FARMER’S HEAD INJURIES (By Telegraph.- -Pross Association) ASHBURTON, Friday A middle-aged returned soldie: farmer at Laghmcr. Canterbury, M Thomas Black, suffered severe heat injuries this afternoon when a good train collided with the truck he wa driving at a level crossing. Mr Black endeavoured to swinj the truck away from the engine, bu the vehicle was struck on the sidi of the bonnet, being hurled again:a telegraph pole. Mr Black wa thrown out only a foot from the rails
