Copyright) (Received July 5, 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 4 Mr Winston Churchill, in the House of Commons, rejected a suggestion that a Commander-in-Chief should -be appointed for the efficient co-ordination of all military and civil departments concerned with the defence of Britain.
