NO CHANGE MINERS ON STRIKE GREYMOUTH, Thursday Tho position at tho Liverpool, James and Strongman State mines, where the men are on strike to demand the reinstatement of a trucker, is unchanged. Mr George English, president of the State Miners’ Union, in an interview alleged a breach of faith on tho part of tho Minister of Minos, tho Hon. P. C. Webb, in submitting information to tho press until the dispute had been settled, contrary to the gentlemen's sgreement made some time ago. Mr English alleged that Mr Webb was endeavouring to prejudice the people against the State union.
