Internment of Aliens
At its meeting yesterday the Waikato Presbytery considered the resolutions sent down by the international relations committee of the General Assembly regarding the supervision of aliens. The Presbytery considered there was need for great care, and resolved: “Presbytery, while recognising the need for the Government to show careful discrimination in the treatment of enemy aliens, would express as its opinion that every necessary precaution be taken to safeguard the interests of the Dominion."
