THEFT AT CAMP
SOLDIER SENT TO GAOL (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Monday “This was a particularly mean theft, and you are not fit to be associated with soldiers,” said Mr J. Morling, S.M., to Gordon StewartBlack, aged 20, a soldier, who pleaded guilty of stealing £4 from another soldier while the latter was asleep at Narrow Neck camp. Accused was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment.
