PROTECTION OF CHILDREN
OFFERS FROM DOMINIONS ANXIETY OF PARENTS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, June 11 Since a number of parents apparently suppose that children registered under the present evacuation scheme may be sent to Australia, Canada or other Empire countries, the Government emphasises that no children at present are being sent outside Britain. Any scheme arising from the Dominion offers, which are under consideration, would be entirely distinct. No child would be sent abroad except at the express wish of its parents.
