JUNIOR CIRCLE

WAIKATO LYCEUM CLUB DANCE TO AID FUNDS The Junior Circle of the Lyceum Club, recently held a dance in the National Club rooms, to augment the funds of the campaign of Mrs Gordon Matthews, Queen of the South. The function, which was convened by Miss Betty Pinfold, Miss Alison Gower and Miss Dorothy Mears, was most successful and a very satisfactory amount was realised. The rooms were charmingly arranged with boughs of artificial multi-coloured blossoms, greenery and bowls of hydrangeas, while the stage was similarly decorated. Excellent dance music was provided by Messrs W. Taylor, H. Reid and H.

Stevenson, extras being played by Miss Tui Molesworth and Mr W. Dingle. The master of ceremonies was Mr Peter Mowbray. During the evening a delicious savoury supper was served.
