Improved weather conditions are indicated to-day and tomorrow with lower temperatures, scattered rain, winds variable. The Rainfall Rainfall for 24 hour? ended 9 o’clock this morning, .54in. Rainfall for previous 24 hours, .I7ln. Rainfall Tor June to date, 3.»lin. Average rainfall for June, 5.19111. Rainfall Tor year to date 23.34in. Average yearly rainfall, 46.32 inches. SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Wafkato-Tbarnes Valley Is a? follow* ■—. General situation: The recent depression has moved eastward off the Dominion and an anti cyclone extends from Australia on to the Tasman. Forecast: Light to fresh south-westerly to westerly winds; a few Isolated showers, but weather otherwise fair and cool; ~ea? rather rough on the west coast, elsewhere slight to moderate.
