TERM IN DOMINION FURTHER SIX MONTHS SECOND EXTENSION MADE (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Monday It is officially announced that His Majesty the King has been pleased to approve of further extension until February, 1941, of the term of office of Colonel the Right Hon. Viscount Galway, P.C., G.C.M.G., D. 5.0., 0.8. E., as Governor-General of New Zealand. Viscount Galway assumed office in New Zealand on April 12, 1935, and was to have left the Dominion on his return to England early this year. However, it was announced in January that owing to the outbreak of war His Excellency’s term had been extended for six months.
