WAIPA REFEREES OFFICERS ELECTED (Special to Times.) TE AWAMUTU, Monday. At the annual meeting or the Waipa Rugby Referees’ Association the following officer's were elected—President, Mr I. F. Vickers; vice-presidents, Mc.**i■*. (~ D. Lawrie and C. Sergeant; secretary, Mr E. T. Brown; selector, Mr A. A. Reese; delegate to Waipa Rugby Union, Mr L. T. Brown; delegate* to Waikato Referees’ Association, .Messrs. Vickers and Brown. Two former members, Messrs. R. L. Adams and W. McCready, were elected life members in appreciation of long ana valuable services. Record was made of the services or Messrs. H. Taylor and F. A. Waters, both of whom are on active service. It was agreed to forward a letter to Mr lan Robert*, last year’s secretary and an active referee, conveying the association's sympathy in his illness.
