GILDO BEATS JARVIS
PROFESSIONAL BOXING (By Telegrapn.— special to Tines) AUCKLAND, Tuesday Young Gildo, the Philippine Islander, defeated Corporal Jack Jarvis, of the Trentham military camp, in a professional light-weight boxing contest last night. Gildo won on points after 12 three-minute rounds, the decision being in little doubt over the greater part of the bout.
