AUCKLAND, Saturday The Autumn Meeting of the Auckland Trotting Club was held at Alexandra Park today in showery weather. There was a large attendance and the track was in good order. Bournemouth, who began smartly, soon set the opposition a hopeless task, drawing to a twelve lengths’ advantage at the end or hall-a-mile and staying on in the straight to win with something in reserve. Modest Maid, who on this occasion trotted stylishly, made a forward move hair-a-nnle from home and though site stood little chance with the winner, she beat the others just as decisively. Worthy Treasure, who tangled and lost ground at the start, ma le a sharp dash along the back the last time, but lie broke badly entering the straight and finished out of the money. Bournemouth was followed early by Nelson Carbine, Port Chalmers, Frank Redmond and Modest Maid, with Worthy Treasure, who was breaking, at the head or the others. At the completion or a round Bournemouth was well clear of Modest Maid, Gold Kip, Nelson Carbine, worthy Treasure and Frank Redmond, with Port Chalmers following at a gap or several lengths. Bournemouth was cle-ar along the back and he led Into the straight from Modest Maid, Worthy Treasure and Gold Kip. Nothing had a chance with the winner In the run home and he won by six lengths from Modest Maid, with a similar distance to Gold Kip. Nelson Carbine was fourth In front or Frank Redmond, Worthy Treasure, Port Chalmers and Barney Bingen. Times: 3.40 2-5, 3.43 3-5, 3.42, 3.51.

Charles Rex was soon in the lead from Star Guide, Village Maid, Ringstone, and Whanako. Passing the stands Ringstone was close behind Charles Rex, with Nawton Junior next. Star Guide in rourth place and Village Maid. Franco, Winning Post. Whanako and Adriatic Star in that order or the others. Charles Rex still held sway along the back when Ringstone and Nawton Junior were next. Star Guide Tollo-wed Charles Rex into the straight and went on to win decisively by two lengths from Village Maid, who finished well to beat Ringstone by half-a-head. Charles Rex was rourth and then came Franco, Whanako and Winning Post with a l)ig gap to Artist’s Gem who was heading the remainder. Times, 2.52, 2.53, 2.53 1-5, 2.53 3-5.

Crucible, Clav Pot, Barbara Scott and Rama Direct next There was little alteration along Hie back, Crucible improving her position three rurlongs rrom home to fie practically on term's with Northern Smile at the turn. Josedale Grattan and Tangatu. In a good finish Molly Direct came through to prevail bv a head over Parauri. with Fortex onlv a neck awav. Tangatu was rourth and then came Our Peggy. Bold Venture.
