REPORT CONFIRMED SUSPENSION OF SESSIONS (By Telcffrapli.—l’ress Association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday A report that the “Social Justice” and “Man-in-the-Street” sessions broadcast by the commercial radio stations had been suspended by direction of the Prime Minister, the Hon. P. Fraser, was referred to Mr C. G. Scrimgeour, controller of the commercial stations and conductor of the “Man-in-the-Street” session. “I can confirm the fact that these sessions have been suspended on the direction cf the Prime Minister,” replied Mr Scrimgeour. “but as I am both the controller of the service and responsible for the ‘Man-in-the-Street’ session I can make no comment.” if the suspension were j’ikely to be permanent, Mr Scrimggour replied that he could not comzuent further.
