FAREWELL PARTY

Mrs Vickers and Mrs Seymour were joint hostesses at a farewell party, held at the residence of Mrs Vickers, Tauhei Road, Morrinsville, recently, to farewell Mrs Twydle, who is leaving the district after many years’ residence. Masses of autumn flowers and leaves made the rooms very attractive. The guest-of-honour wore a navy frock of flat crepe relieved with floral trimming, Mrs Seymour wore a frock of apple green floral sheer and Mrs Vickers wore pastel blue floral craquelle. After a delicious afternoon tea Mrs Seymour and Mrs Hutchings asked Mrs Twydle to accept a gift of pyrex as a token of their esteem.
