Great thanks were due to Air George Grant, who laid out and supervised the work, and to the band or voluntary workers who put in many days on the construction. In opening the bath Mr C. A. Barrel!, M.P., for Hamilton, who apologised for the unavoidable absence of the lion. \Y. Lee M ant in. congratulated the people of the district on the enterprise shown in erecting a bath which he understood was the most up-to-date in the Dominion, for the size of the school.
