ACTIVITIES IN AMERICA NEW LEGISLATION DEMANDED (United Press Assn. —dec. Tel. Copyright) WASHINGTON, April 6 The Dies Committee has issued 90 subpoenas, of which 50 are for Communists and 40 for GermanAmerican Bundists. Mr Dies.is angry over the Philadelphia judges’ warrants for the arrest of agents of the committee on charges of illegally entering Communists’ offices, and has demanded new legislation to compel the registration of all parties with international affiliations.
