INJURIES PROVE FATAL

MAN STRUCK BY TRAIN (By Telegraph.—press Association) DUNEDIN, Sunday The death took place in the Dunedin Public Hospital on Saturday ot Mr William Simpson, a married man, aged 69, as a result of injuries received when he was run over by a shunting train in the Midalemarch station yards on Thursday. Deceased was admitted to the hospital the same evening with his right leg amputate ! below the knee and with severe lacerations to the left ankle.
