SINGLES MATCHES JACOB WRIGHT GAMES Sectional play in the Jacob Wright Singles Competition of the Hamilton bowling centre took place on the Hamilton greens on Saturday. The four sections, which were played on the Hamilton, Whitiora, Hamilton East and Railway clubs’ greens, were completed on Saturday and the finals will be played next Saturday. The sectional winners were:— Section A, Wilson (Hamilton Club); section B, Keenan (Railway Club); section C, Exelby (Frankton Club); section D, McCabe (Railway Club). INTER-CLUB MATCH WHITIORA V. CLAUDELANDS An inter-club match was played between the Whitiora and Claudelands clubs on Saturday, play taking place on the greens of both clubs. At the Whitiora greens, the home team had four wins with 153 points and the visitors three wins with 125 points. At the Claudelands greens, the Claudelands Club’s players were credited with 136 points and the Whitiora Club with 98 points.
