PAINFUL JOURNEY IN TRUCK (By Telegraph.—‘Special to Times) AUCKLAND, Saturday Mr Norman Godfrey Hone, aged 27, single, of Waiuku, was knocked down by a rubble truck in the Moumoukai quarry, 20 miles from Hunua, yesterday afternoon. The truck passed over his legs, fracturing both. A painful journey by lorry was undertaken to Hunua, where the patient was transferred to an ambulance, the Auckland Hospital being reached at 8 p.m., four hours after the accident.
