STEADY MARKET

VALUES AT MORINSVILLE EWES GENERALLY EASIER FAT PIGS SELL WELL Values remained firm on late rates for fat wethers and lambs at the Morrinsville stock sale yesterday, but general interest in breeding ewes was not keen. Cow and heifer beef met brisk competition at prices fully up to recent sales. A heavy yarding of boner cows sold at unchanged rates, with potter bulls slightly easier in value. Dairy cattle sold satisfactorily. The demand for baconers was keen at current rates and competition for porkers and choppers was also steady.
