ANZAC DAY

NATIONAL COMMEMORATION VISITORS FROM OVERSEAS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday The commemoration of Anzac Day this year will, in accordance with the Government’s programme, be a national event, said the secretary of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association today. The dawn parade and the main parade will be national functions. Representatives from oversea will be present, “but we are not yet sure of Africa and India.” There will be two representatives from the exsoldiers’ Association of Malay and a delegation from Australia. It is proposed to suggest to local associations throughout New Zealand that they should be represented.
